I don’t want any translator, games, calculator or any other things in it. Just a complete dictionary and thesaurus having a huge collection of words. I am in UK now. If possible, please suggest me the better shops to buy.

Ok, Im needing some ideas for a Electronic store name that sells, games consols, tvs, computers, and cell phones. Something creative, rare, and unique, but also lets them know what type of items they’ll get if they visit the store. Please let me know if any of you have any ideas. (Best idea i’ve come up with is electronic paradise, but it seems there is already a few stores with that name.) Note: This is a online store.

XXXtronics: Megatronics, supertronics, polytronics, computronics, consumertronics, you get the idea.

August 29, 2009 - 7:26 am 1 Comment

Hello, me and my family are planning on going to Hong Kong this July. I’m planning on buying a ps3 there because they are much cheaper as well as games. Can anybody tell me of any good electronic stores in Hong Kong that sell video games and can you give out any websites as well.

I have never found many bargains on name brand electronics in Hong Kong at least not at the stores. You might be able to find something at the night market.

I can repair TV.. and related electronics goods. But I don’t know what facilities I could use to teach electronics. Has any one gote an experience on this. Thanks

Depends where you live.
Try community schools, vocational schools.

If you wanted to learn your skills, where would you go? Try the same places, but as a potential teacher not a student.

If you go to your local employment office they may be able to help you.

I have found a website that I would like to use to begin importing electronic goods i.e mobile phones.
Ive been reading up article’s on the internet with regards to importing from china to the uk but they have all been about specific parts of the importing process. Can someone please, please explain how it works? Simply? especially with regards to tax’s and delivery to the uk, possibly to my door step.
Oh and I am not looking to import huge loads of anything just 10 mobiles a month or two. Any help will be much much appreciated

Customs formalities have to be addressed. Much info on the website below. Question 13 seems to be relevant to you.
*Incidentally, I have a trustworthy friend in Beijing, who could possibly be of help to you. Have known her for 7 years and visited 3 times.

inexpensive electronic shopping in washington dc ?

August 27, 2009 - 10:11 am 1 Comment

I will be in dc next week . where can I buy inexpensive electronic products in dc or around? Can you suggest a Mall or outlet having good prices? thanks

In my opinion there are NO GOOD INEXPENSIVE electronic stores in the Metro DC area (not like NYC) as many have or are in the process of closing like CompUSA and Circuit City.

In my opinion BEST PRICES locally for electronics are the result of following weekly sales but in general BEST BUY chain and MICROCENTER located in Fairfax VA and Rockville MD have best overall prices.

FYI if you want to see LATEST up to date ELECTRONICs, stop by and visit the SONYSTYLE Store at Tysons Corner Mall on the level just below the AMC theatres and Food Court…Simply AMAZING! My sister, her husband and teenage kids recently viisting from Ventura Calif were impressed.

Hope the Above Info Helps!

purchaser of mp3…good for electronic store owner?

August 27, 2009 - 10:10 am 2 Comments

im want to sell a new brand of mp3 players here in america to electronic stores, the company is based in europe but the product is coming from hongkong. i want to know what are the main queation the buyer/purchaser will ask from me what are their main concern. example of the questions i have are "what’s the return policy?" "is there repair centers here in america?" I want to know the purchaser’s opinion, or the question that will arise. thanks

Quality of the Product, your method of warehousing, shipping, what distribution and inventory you will use, logistics (JIT etc), timely schedule of delivery, % defect of product. Return Policy, Return to Vendor Policy, Your pricing cost. The buyer will consider all your data and facot in the feasibility of the product with the probability of even sales. Mostly, will this sell, and who will buy it.

In Taiwan, where can I find Variety Electronic Parts and Stores?

August 27, 2009 - 10:10 am 3 Comments

I am NOT interested in big ticket or bulky consumer goods like TV, DVD Recorder, high-end HiFi etc, but I’m looking something unsual and uncommon like Two-Way Radio, transmitter, electronic thermometer, battery chargers, LED torches, computer parts, and electronic components etc. Some second hand goods would be nice too.

If you know a district called Sham Shui Po in Hong Kong, you know exactly that I mean!

Thanks in advance!

In Taichung on Kung-Yi (gong-yi) road there is a place called NOVA. That has just about every gidget, gizmo ect possible and most of the stores carry build your own PC parts and electronicy type stuff.
If you cant find it there ask somebody where who is working there. (If you speak chinese… ) (Otherwise I recommend bringing a friend who does so you get exactly what you want- or else have pictures and specs in plan mathmatical language for what you need)
