How much electronics in terms of cost , can I carry with me from US/Canada to India?

December 20, 2009 - 1:00 am 1 Comment

I am planning to carry some electronics goods worth $200 to India. Is that allowed, Do I need to open the orignal packing [which I dont want to do , since they are gifts ] while carrying it ?

Any other suggestions ? btw I am a student in US and on a work permit in Canada. I am flying from US to Chennai and then to Mumbai

It is customs in India (or the country you enter to stay at) that decides fees on goods coming into the country; not the country you are leaving. Hopefully someone from India will see this, or post in that section.

Good Electronic REAL Drum Set Cheap?

December 16, 2009 - 10:59 pm 2 Comments

Does anyone know of anything like a CHEAP $200-$500 Range Electronic Drumset that has preferably with Ipod enabler so i can plug my ipod in and basically play to it or something..
Also if it has something so i can (as i have seen on other tronic drum sets) upload musical notes and you know like..the next note you hit no matter WHAT you hit its the next note you uploaded

The cheapest electronic drumkit available is like 500 dollars… and that is REALLY garbage.

Good kits are 5 grand plus.

You will not find a decent electric drumkit for that range. Not new anyway, or used really for that matter.

is Durn Store Electronic Technologies Ltd. legit?

December 16, 2009 - 10:59 pm 1 Comment

They seem to have amazing deals, but no physical website. I e-mailed them for a iphone 3GS for $210, but it seems to good to be true. They said that they were a legit company and their address is Company Name: Durn Store Electronic Technologies Ltd.
Company Address: 345 King-Fish Lane
City: Miami
State: Florida
Zipcode: 33119
Country: usa

I can’t find it though
Please help

If the store cannot be found easily, it is likely not legitimate.

I strongly suspect its a scam.

Who did the original Good Guys Theme song?

December 16, 2009 - 10:59 pm 1 Comment

The electronic goods store, The Good Guys, has that theme song, but it’s a parody of a popular rock song from the 70s/80s…
What’s it called..?

The song is called Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys.

Can anybody recommend a good and cheap electronic cigarette?

December 11, 2009 - 12:06 pm 3 Comments

Hi,

I am looking for a good and cheap electronic cigarette? Any recommendations?

Thanks?

The Joye 510 with the manual button. This thing is awesome. My first E-Cig was a big one, the DSE801, it’s a pen style E-Cig and was said to give off the most vapor and last the longest. Well I bought it, and didn’t really like the amount of time it took to charge the battery, I wasn’t impressed with the Flute mouthpiece, it didn’t have the hit I was looking for, and the battery automatically shut off after a 5 second-drag, and you had to wait for the LED to stop blinking before you could take another drag.

The Joye 510 is a smaller E-Cig. The manual button lets me control how long of a drag I want. The vapor it produces is great. I love it! If you use it quite a bit, you get about 90 minutes of use. But you get 2 batteries and each battery only takes an hour to charge. The pen style batteries took 4 hours to charge. I got a car charger for when I’m at work, since I work at locations and use a company vehicle. The 510 also uses less juice than my DSE801, so my juice supply lasts longer.

Never pay over $50 for a starter kit, and never subscribe to a company. Companies want you to subscribe to cartridge purchases, but you never want to do this. You can fill your own cartridges at home, and carry around juice to top off your e-cig at any time. The juice is WAY cheaper than buying cartridges. A fully loaded cartridge lasts about 8 cigarettes. A cartridge costs about $1, but reloading your own cartridge costs just pennies.

I haven’t heard any reviews of somebody not liking the Joye 510. If you go to awesomevapor.com, Arno is the nicest seller you can ever come across. He has the cheapest supplies and the best customer service around. He also has a 14-day money back guarantee if you don’t like the product. He’s also ECA certified, which is very important. Arno is hands down, THE BEST!
