Anyone know of a place in the denver/lakewood area. Thanks

If you are referring to a check engine light problem, most Autozone parts stores offer to check for trouble codes at no cost. Here’s a link to some other repair shops in your area which are recommended by other customers….just plug in your zip code.

It depends what you’re looking for.. you can compare prices here:

PC City and Elgiganten usually have the best prices, they’re both part of the same company:

Komplett is an internet-only shop with good prices:

On/Off is a little more expensive, but sometimes has good deals:

Is there a database of price information for consumer-goods available?

February 16, 2010 - 8:57 pm 1 Comment

I would like to find a source with the average prices of consumer goods (electronics, games, etc.), sampled from across many retailers. Free would be nice, but willing to pay subscription fee.

I need to know if anybody bought something from china website or heard anything good or bad? It could be a scam but it give real information, number, email and address but it in CHINA! And I am in Orlando Fl. Help?

I am in the process of ordering something from there but I paid, and you know when they ship out of the country it has to go through customs. They said as of 2 days ago customs changed the rules to where the customer has to pay customs as well. So I am trying to decide if I am going to pay them. If I do I will let you know how it turns out

I would say Samsclub or Walmart. I just bought a 52" and 32" Philips LCD HDTV for $1850 at Samsclub. Both for $1850, take that BestBuy.

Which is better-Electronics Engineering from IETE or AMIE?

February 14, 2010 - 6:50 pm 1 Comment

I am thinking of doing Electronics Engineering from IETE. I am 32 yrs BSc graduate presently working as a pharma salesman.
Is Electronics Engg from IETE a good & easy option compared to doing Mechanical or Civil from AMIE?
In this context which is the best branch of engineering in present scenario?

Both are equal & has lots of value in engineering sector jobs.
Electronics is one of the best fields after core branches.
Best of Luck
:-)

do you think that today’s electronic media in INDIA is doing journalism?

February 11, 2010 - 10:21 pm 1 Comment

I mean they more interested in doing other things like entertainment, horoscope, page 3 etc.
the newsreaders are more interested in good looking than in subject.

They might be if rupert Murdoch doesn’t buy them.

What is the best electronic drum kit under $600?

February 11, 2010 - 10:21 pm 1 Comment

I need an electronic drum kit for my death metal band (acoustic one was damaged and I live in an apartment now) and I need a kit that I can afford that won’t fall apart and doesn’t suck.
here’s sort of what I’m looking for:
-mesh heads (doesn’t have to but it would be nice)
-rim on the snare (I do gravity blasts, gotta have a rim)
-duel zone snare
-cymbal choke (again, doesn’t have to but it would be nice)
-velocity sensitive pads
-good cymbal sounds (china,splash,ride,crash,hi-hat suitable for death metal)
-sturdy bass drum (I play death metal, the bass drum may recieve punishment)
-y-split compatible (I might want to add more pads later)
-quiet enough to play in an apartment (gotta practice)
-durrability (I don’t want to replace anything, I’m close to poor)
-reliability (I’ll be taking it to live shows)

so yeah if you know of or can find an electronic kit that fits most of my specifications under 600 I will love you forever

See casio and yamaha websites.

Where to buy Electronic Goods in San Fransisco?

February 11, 2010 - 10:20 pm 3 Comments

I am travelling to SF. Is there a place where I can get good quality electronics like ipod, iphone and camcorder for cheap?

There are Best Buy stores in the City, one south of market and one at Geary and Masonic.

There is also a huge Apple Store at Stockton and Ellis just a couple of blocks from Union Square.
