What is a good electronic note taker that will not brake the bank?

February 9, 2010 - 7:10 pm 4 Comments

I am looking for a touch screen tablet that i can write on with a stylus to take notes inclass instead of on paper. Save paper and save the trees. The iPad is $500 and 58 days away. I am looking for something cheaper than that but is also good. If i should get the iPad, the pogo sketch is going to be my stylus, ut i would not want to spend that much for that little.

i try to write the answers your problem in my blog http://www.mystructuredsettlement.co.cc you can see any problem in my blog.

best store to buy electronic components?

Now I know this store I am looking for may not actually exist anymore. Radio Shack used to be good but now they have hardly anything and know even less if you have a question about something. Are there any stores around that still stock a good selection of electronic components?

maybe in the 70’s Radio sHack may have been good…. VERY expensive floor sweepings when it came to their carded parts.

There are several excellent parts houses;

What is a good electronic reader?

February 5, 2010 - 2:53 am 7 Comments

I am thinking about getting an electronic reader. What is a good cheap one or a really good one that is more expensive but really good. A thing that is like an e-reader, or kindle. Thanks (:

I’ve done some comparison between the sony e-reader and the Kindle here last week, guess you’ll be interested:

For larger and more expensive one, just go for the Kindle DX. If you can afford the money, it is worth to get the Kindle DX, as you can see here:

Hope it helps :)

Electronic Store that sells small stuff?

February 5, 2010 - 2:53 am 1 Comment

Hey guys,

for a project i need to but stuff like a D-Sub connector hood (printer cable wire), various resisters and switching diodes, etc. Do any of you know of any good online electronic stores that sells this type of stuff? for example, I know radio shack does but they charge way to much.

There are many online electronic retailers to choose from. Here are a few links to sources of small parts I have dealt with. Thery are all reputable companies and service has been good in my experience.

Some sell similar items at widely varying prices, so shop around for the best prices, but usually the cheaper stuff is of lower quality. You usually get what you pay for. Some have recently reduced prices due to slow sales in this recession.
