Are there any Business Bursaries or scholarships for students from the Government?

I have done business studies and IT while at college and while studying, i’ve been investigating my own business venture.

I’ve found the perfect thing while talking to manufacturers and suppliers in China of Electronic goods and the problem is, I cannot get work where I live, nor can I get EMA or any other funding due to my parents income, nor can I get any funding off my parents as we can barely pay the mortgage.

The Chinese factories of Guangdong I’ve spoken to can supply me with the said goods for £6 a piece and these are sold in high street stores for £60+ each, ebay sellers sell these at a cheapest price of £24.99 so I believe I’ve stuck gold : D

Problem is, to get these at that price I need to buy a minimum quantity of 100 but I’d also like to visit these factories in China to make sure I don’t run the risk of being scammed (as a lot of so called "chinese suppliers" turn out to be someone in a flat running scams all over the net)

They have a verification seal on their factories’ website from 3rd parties that have checked their business out to make sure all’s legit, But I still can’t run any risk especially if it’s such an amount of money which I don’t have straight forward access to.

Is there any business bursary or Scheme available from the government for students like myself?

You can get info about such college scholarships and grants online here – universities.atwebpages.com

need help on hongkong. also how far causewaybay to ocean park?

hi all
need help on how far causeway bay to ocean park. if by taxi how much? also are all taxi prices must be agreed before trip in HK? thank you.
and what is the most happening shopping centre/maket at the moment, for clothes shopping and electronic goods?

Hong Kong taxi fares are set by the meter, not negotiation. You pay what the meter says or your driver calls the police and you get arrested.

Causeway Bay and Ocean Park are relatively close to each other (4 miles?), but traffic can be very congested and travel slow. Your taxi fare will be around HK$100, depending on how slow the traffic is.

There are numerous shopping centers and "night markets" across Hong Kong. Wan Chai and Mong Kok are great for browsing little stores and open air stalls. Upscale shopping is available at malls like Pacific Place
