I have been playing around on the drums 4 about a year and I wanted a nice kit for my birthday or christmas that is small and affordable. I was thinking about the "Roland HD-1 V Drum Lite Electronic Drum Set" but I dont know if this is a good idea or not. Have any suggestions of a good kit or set that is cheap?

You could get a Alesis DM6 Electronic Drum Set. You can get it off of musiciansfriend for 400-500 dollars. Roland is also a good choice though the Roland HD-1 V’s pedals dont get you used to the feel of a real bass drum pedal.

Ok, My youth group is taking a mission trip to Thailand. Now here’s the thing, I know very little Thai. I know there are electronic translators but we can only afford one up to about 75 bucks. Does anyone know any good deals or coupon codes we could use?

Never seen any that cheap. CyberDict and TalkingDict are the two market leaders in Thailand, pretty expensive, well over US$100 from the cheapest model at the outlets I have seen them.

I question how useful they are because 1) if you can’t type Thai you can’t use it to translate words you see, 2) you definitely can’t translate Thai words you hear, and 3) translating English to Thai is only a little bit useful unless you get one of the really expensive talking models that has a big database of common phrases

There aren’t many cheap electronic kits, but I recommend checking eBay. Most store bought electronic kits are $750+, but you can get a good one on eBay. Here’s a good beginner kit for less than $200,

I would say Samsclub or Walmart. I just bought a 52" and 32" Philips LCD HDTV for $1850 at Samsclub. Both for $1850, take that BestBuy.

I am looking for a touch screen tablet that i can write on with a stylus to take notes inclass instead of on paper. Save paper and save the trees. The iPad is $500 and 58 days away. I am looking for something cheaper than that but is also good. If i should get the iPad, the pogo sketch is going to be my stylus, ut i would not want to spend that much for that little.

u could try national market near majestic (very cheap,,actually cheapest in bangalore)
i know many say the stuff are of low quality but all that depends on ure luck & choice
ive gotten 90% of all bought stuff to b workin fine
