Good Electronic REAL Drum Set Cheap?

December 16, 2009 - 10:59 pm 2 Comments

Does anyone know of anything like a CHEAP $200-$500 Range Electronic Drumset that has preferably with Ipod enabler so i can plug my ipod in and basically play to it or something..
Also if it has something so i can (as i have seen on other tronic drum sets) upload musical notes and you know like..the next note you hit no matter WHAT you hit its the next note you uploaded

The cheapest electronic drumkit available is like 500 dollars… and that is REALLY garbage.

Good kits are 5 grand plus.

You will not find a decent electric drumkit for that range. Not new anyway, or used really for that matter.

Can anybody recommend a good and cheap electronic cigarette?

December 11, 2009 - 12:06 pm 3 Comments

Hi,

I am looking for a good and cheap electronic cigarette? Any recommendations?

Thanks?

The Joye 510 with the manual button. This thing is awesome. My first E-Cig was a big one, the DSE801, it’s a pen style E-Cig and was said to give off the most vapor and last the longest. Well I bought it, and didn’t really like the amount of time it took to charge the battery, I wasn’t impressed with the Flute mouthpiece, it didn’t have the hit I was looking for, and the battery automatically shut off after a 5 second-drag, and you had to wait for the LED to stop blinking before you could take another drag.

The Joye 510 is a smaller E-Cig. The manual button lets me control how long of a drag I want. The vapor it produces is great. I love it! If you use it quite a bit, you get about 90 minutes of use. But you get 2 batteries and each battery only takes an hour to charge. The pen style batteries took 4 hours to charge. I got a car charger for when I’m at work, since I work at locations and use a company vehicle. The 510 also uses less juice than my DSE801, so my juice supply lasts longer.

Never pay over $50 for a starter kit, and never subscribe to a company. Companies want you to subscribe to cartridge purchases, but you never want to do this. You can fill your own cartridges at home, and carry around juice to top off your e-cig at any time. The juice is WAY cheaper than buying cartridges. A fully loaded cartridge lasts about 8 cigarettes. A cartridge costs about $1, but reloading your own cartridge costs just pennies.

I haven’t heard any reviews of somebody not liking the Joye 510. If you go to awesomevapor.com, Arno is the nicest seller you can ever come across. He has the cheapest supplies and the best customer service around. He also has a 14-day money back guarantee if you don’t like the product. He’s also ECA certified, which is very important. Arno is hands down, THE BEST!

is a Danville Mini 6W Amplifier good for electronic drums?

November 24, 2009 - 10:14 am 1 Comment

i’m getting an electronic drum kit and i was wondering if a 6 watt amp would be good because its cheap

depends on what you need it for. 6 watts is barely anything. but if you dont have much space and are not going to be playing with anyone else, it might work out. little guitar amps are usually around 50 watts. so 6 isnt going to get very loud at all…

I am looking for a company that builds electronic prototypes?

November 7, 2009 - 4:00 am 1 Comment

I need to find a company, preferably in the new york/new jersey area that will build an electronic prototype for you. I am looking for a reputable company or individual, that is relatively cheap but does a good job and gets it done quickly. Also if you have any experience in this field whether because you have used a certain company, or do it yourself I would appreciate the help.

you’re going to have to be more specific about what you mean by "electronic prototype"

do you mean a chip? have you designed it yourself or are you looking for a design house to design it based on your specifications? such a design house will select a fab that has a suitable process.

do you mean an electronic system? does it use "off the shelf" chips or will it need custom ASICs. if the latter, you’re back in first situation for that part.

what exactly do you mean?

Cheapest electronic Japanese dictionary?

November 2, 2009 - 5:06 pm 3 Comments

I want a good english/japanese electronic dictionary but ive only found ones with multiple languages that cost a lot. i just want a english/japanese one. links are highly appreciated. thanks!!!

This site sells some Japanese/English electronic dictionaries and ships overseas: http://www.whiterabbitpress.com/catalog/Japanese-English-orderby0-p-1-c-262.html

But if you want a good one, you will have to spend a lot. Also, be sure to get one appropriate for your skill level. That site has forums where people can help you pick a good one. For example, most are designed for Japanese people, but there are some with more English-speaker friendly menus, setup, etc. There are some where you can write kanji on the screen to look them up, which is great for beginner-intermediate students. If you are more advanced, you might want one with a bigger dictionary (more words).

This is a decent paper dictionary – http://www.amazon.com/Kodanshas-Furigana-Japanese-Dictionary-Japanese-English/dp/4770024800

And http://www.alc.co.jp/ is a fantastic online dictionary.

What would be a good non-valueble item to take to a sleepaway camp?

October 26, 2009 - 11:02 am 6 Comments

I am going to a sleepaway camp, and i was going to bring a PSP, but i dont want it getting stolen. Any good ideas for a cheap electronic i can take?

Well if you’re looking for a cheap way to play games, have you thought about putting down the electronic ones and playing a board or card game? If they were lost or stolen, you wouldn’t care. Plus, it’s something you can interact with other people. Games are always more fun playing against/with others.

If you do want something electronic, you can always get those cheapie Blackjack battery powered games they sell just about anywhere for under $10.
