Electronic shops in Hong Kong – Video Games (PS3)?

September 25, 2009 - 8:20 pm 2 Comments

Hello, me and my family are planning on going to Hong Kong this July. I’m planning on buying a ps3 there because they are much cheaper as well as games. Can anybody tell me of any good electronic stores in Hong Kong that sell video games and can you give out any websites as well.

well if you buy it legally from a STORE then it will actually be around the same price….but if you take your chances and buy it off the street at * fa yun gai-flower garden street* or "women’s street- nui yun gai" it will be alot cheaper. There’s still a good chance that they are real. Just be smart and make them let you try it out first before you buy it.

Hi! Where in the Philippines can I buy an electronic dictionary?

September 21, 2009 - 7:21 pm 5 Comments

:D
I’m planning to buy one tomorrow but I just don’t know where to look.

I’m near SM Fairview and Robinsons Novaliches malls. I don’t wanna go farther so, are there stores in SM and Rob that sell electronic pocket dictionaries? :D Or someplace near our vicinity?

Also, what’s a good electronic dictionary brand?

Thank you.

You sound like you’re looking for brand new ones so try looking in National Bookstore.

The Franklin Electronic Dictionary costs Php 2395. There is one more that sells for Php 3,995, but that one has more features.

Would you please give me some guidance of stores on ebay?(electronic products)?

hey, guys, I wanna buy some electronic products on ebay. but there are so many stores in different levels. Could you give me some guidance? or your favorites on ebay. I think such stores in China would be better, cause many friends said that they have cheap price and good service. Thanks.

You may try this one: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/ProAsusOnline

It’s a totally new store on ebay. but they have low price and locate in China. It’s a electronic products supplier in china mainland. I think you can find something you like there. If you don’t, you may count on their procurement service.

Hope this helps! ^_^

Do you think employees at "big box" electronic stores are qualified enough ?

Have you ever been misinformed about a technology?
Did the employee offer multiple solutions to your problem?
Were they courteous when dealing with you situation?
Do you think "spin" is used to create hype about a technology being way better?

In my experience, the majority of them are just smart enough to find their way to work. I’ve given up on them, and do my research and purchasing on-line.

Elctronic Stores in Montreal, Canada?

WHICH ARE THE STORES OFFERING THE BEST PRICES OF ELECTRONIC GOODS IN MONTREAL< CANADA> ARE THERE CIRCUITCITY STORES IN MONTREAL AND WHAT IS THE WEB ADDRESS OF CIRCUITCITY AND OTHER ELECTRONIC STORES

Futureshop and Bestbuy are the two big "competing" chains, but they are not really competing because they both are owned by the same parent company.

Radio Shack stores were renamed to The Source when purchased by Circuit City. There are no Circuit City stores in Montreal.

There is also Bureau en Gros (which is a french version of Staples) that has some electronics goods.

And the big name stores (such as Sears, Zellers, and Walmart) each have their own electronics departments.

In most electronic stores like Best Buy, Circuit City etc…?

September 12, 2009 - 2:29 am 2 Comments

why do all of them have only a few laptop brands that they are wishing to sell? For instance, like Sony Vaio, Gateway and HP Pavilion. I agree that these laptops are very good – but shouldn’t they also sell some other laptop brands like Acer, Fujitsu, Alienware, Lenovo/IBM etc. which have good models to suit user’s needs?

It’s ok if Best Buy has only Sony, Gateway or Toshiba. But why does even Frys and Circuit City also have only Sony or Toshiba?

Why can’t each store sell different brands and wider range of laptop models? Why do all stores only sell the same two or three very popular brands of laptops?

Those stores get paid by the certain companies to put there certain brands of there laptops on the shelves.
