I’m having a big sweet sixteen, and lots of my family members are willing to spend a few hundred dollars on me. so what should I ask for. I have most basic things already. tv, car, ipod, stereo things like that. how about something out of the ordinary? my uncle’s buying me a coach bag but Id rather some electronics. doesnt have to be though. I’m girly.
forgot to mention: I can’t ask for money. My family members want to be remembered for actually buying something special for me. I’m not so much of a game person.

Any electronics that can help my brain power or memory. like some special dictionary or logical reasoning machine. I dont know. but no game systems.

A cell phone (Camera phone, "Sidekick", music phone, iphone,) ipod, PS2, PS3, Mp3 player, Dance Dance Revolution (cool game for PS2 and great exersize, it even has a workout mode for you to see how many calories you burned so far in the game), TV, DVD players, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PSP, Nintendo Wii, Camera.

There are some games on Nintendo DS that are very educational. Brain age and Big Brain academy both have challenging tests and questions.

Which is better Electronics or Electrical Engineering in terms of studying and salary. ?

p.s. – I am from Canada. What is the future of electronics engineering and electronics engineering in Canada? Which engineer earns more per annum from these two. Moreover, what do you think of the future of Mechanical Engineering in Alberta and other parts of Canada. If possible, tell how much average each type of these engineers mentioned earns per annum.

I am from Alberta, Canada. A recent Electrical Engineering Grad. I’ve seen salaries from my peers ranging between 55 – 75. The higher range will be found in Oil & Gas. As long as you have a degree, Electrical or Electronics will suffice. Chances are you will not be using half of what you learned in school anyways. Mechanical Engineers in Alberta have plenty of job opportunities, maybe even more than electricals and I believe there future looks promising. It would be a good idea to speak with someone from APEGGA for more information. I’ve included a source that shows salaries amongst engineers in Alberta.

Is there a good electronics store in canada?

I want to buy some resistors dials and switches. maybe some capacitors too. where in canada can I get them. It would be good if I could get things mailed to my house.

Depends where you are in Canada. For most components it is best to get them from your neighbourhood electronics store. In a pinch, The Source will have some components in stock and they’re all over the place and have longer hours than most electronics stores, but they can be expensive liking to charge $5 for 25 cents worth of resistors. There are a couple of American companies that sell electronics to customers in Canada. Newark takes care of the duty and tax for you and charges a flat rate of $12 CAD for everything you order as long as it totals up under 50 lbs and it will arrive to most major cities within one day. Digikey also takes care of its Canadian customers. Shipping starts at $8.

how can i use eBay for selling electronics goods online?please help.?

Register as a member at www.ebay.com.sg and you can start selling.

Think twice before you sell on ebay as ebay likes to suspend members for no good reason.

NO LONGER A REGISTERED USER next to the member’s ID means that the member is suspended. You can see a lot of such accounts at eBay website.
