Good electronic music or remixing software websites?

I want something like garage band but cheaper or free. Or good websites where i can learn how to use a turntable. Or good sites about all the electronic music software gear and downloadable things. I also want to know if there is anyway that you can hook up your ipod to a mixer, or DJ with your ipod without using a vinyl CD
