What is a good electronic reader?
February 5, 2010 - 2:53 am
I am thinking about getting an electronic reader. What is a good cheap one or a really good one that is more expensive but really good. A thing that is like an e-reader, or kindle. Thanks (:
I’ve done some comparison between the sony e-reader and the Kindle here last week, guess you’ll be interested:

For larger and more expensive one, just go for the Kindle DX. If you can afford the money, it is worth to get the Kindle DX, as you can see here:

The kindle is well known because its a good product, but you really should ask yourself what you want before you buy it.
If you only want to read classics for example, those can be found easily through sites like project gutenberg and if that’s the case I’d recommend the Sony reader. Its the best of the devices from my understanding, but it has a horribly priced store attached.
If you want to read current new releases easily I’d recommend the Kindle. Its a good, solidly working device with excellent customer service and it has the cheapest and biggest store.
If you want to try a new device and maybe give your information to the people creating the next generation and help them work through the kinks, then go with the nook. But really the nook doesn’t have any strengths that the kindle doesn’t beat it out on.
If you read very occassionally and would rather have an all around media device get an iTouch or wait for the new iPad.

get the apple iPad when it comes out. It will be worth the wait because it is very intuitive and has many other options that a normal reader does not. Like the ability to be it’s own replacement for a laptop. The cost is affordable for what it is. Just be patient, it will pay off:)

The Amazon Kindle is the best ebook reader right now. There are two models of Kindle in the market right now, and they are the two best with different size. See some good comparisons here, and see which model to go with:
