This will tell you the finishing price it went for or whether it sold (prices in green show the item sold and prices in red show it didn’t sell at the advertised price). With eBay you have a choice to start at a low price and then let the people bid it up, or set a reserve price or set a "buy it now" price. You don’t say where you are from but there is an online site that is free to advertise on called www.gumtree.com so you could advertise you equipment at a fixed price and people will contact you if they are interested in it.

Have used both eBay and Gumtree to buy and sell items
