doesnt have to be electronic goods

Contact the economic development board of China or Hong Kong. they probably have a catalog of exporters trying to do business with importers.

What you need to know about buying from foreign countries. They have many great non branded products that you can buy for fairly cheap. If someone tries to sell you an American brand product such as ipod it is a scam, even if you see the product you will find out it was a knock off. If is not possible to purchase American brand products from over seas.
