Most of the Electronic goods contain the symbole "CE" whats the meaning?

Is there any quality related one or it represent any meaning
When the CE Mark is affixed, it means that the products conform to Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive and other relevant Directives that are relevant to the products.

CE stands for Conformité Européenne (European health & safety product label).

It is a stamped approval of conformity and it means that the device is OK for normal consumer use. It is like UL(Underwriters Laboratories). Under normal conditions and used properly, a device with that stamp should not endanger the user or anyone else.
